Who I Work With

I work with young adults and adults of all ages who feel stuck and unable to move forward in certain aspects of their lives. I can help with a range of issues from emotional and psychological concerns such as grief and loss, identity concerns, trauma, relationships, divorce, self-esteem, negative behaviours, stress and anger management, emotional regulation, anxiety, depression, obsessions and compulsions, phobias and several others. In addition, I work with clients looking for support adjusting to life’s bigger changes and transitions such as moving into adulthood, parenting, divorce, retirement, empty nest, health diagnoses, cultural adaptation; and those dealing with work-related challenges such as career changes, boundary setting, assertiveness, impostor syndrome, stress management and burnout.

How I Work

I am an integrative practitioner and as such, I tailor my approach to each individual's unique circumstances. However, my practice is mostly rooted in relational, psychodynamic, narrative and existential theories. Anchored in the principles of choice, responsibility and authenticity, I use a combination of insight-driven talking therapy and a range of practical techniques and exercises to process past traumas, examine recurring patterns, explore significant relationships and address issues of grief and loss. Insight gained in therapy kickstarts the healing process allowing us to rebuild those aspects of our lives and selves that feel stuck. Together, we cultivate resilience, set goals, learn coping skills and track your progress to take control and bring about the changes you want to see.
